Many owners choose a tray system for the comfort and convenience of easily moving and replacing modules when needed, simplifying roof maintenance and adjustments.
While layered systems are more cost-effective, they require more labor and expertise for proper installation. Ideally, plants should be rooted in soil that integrates across the roof, allowing the plants to share nutrients—without exposed plastic disrupting the aesthetic. LiveRoof offers an instantly mature, visually appealing system that combines the ease of trays with the benefits of a continuous soil environment.

Get in touch with us to discuss your vision and project timeline—ideally, we recommend planning at least 6 months in advance. Next, choose an installer - we’ve collaborated with numerous trusted contractors throughout the Pacific Northwest. A 50% deposit is required to begin production.
Our lead time for fully vegetated modules is 12-14 weeks, depending on weather conditions. Please note our annual LiveRoof schedule:
Planting on May 15, with delivery between August and September (deposits due by April 20)
Planting on August 15, with delivery between October and the following Spring (deposits due by July 20)
